1. Who we are

The Proof of Scam service ("Service") at proofofscam.com is operated by Sánta Gábor, sole proprietor (egyéni vállalkozó), registered in Hungary ("we"), under the trade name (fantázianév) "Proof of Scam". 2. What the Service is

Quick Scan (free) — a sourced, one-page risk summary of a crypto token, company or "passive income" offer, from our existing research library, delivered by email.
Full Dossier (paid, one-time) — a fresh, in-depth, sourced investigation including on-chain analysis, delivered as a report (md + PDF).
Guard / Pro (paid, monthly or annual subscription) — everything in the Full Dossier plus ongoing on-chain monitoring and alerts, until cancelled.
API (paid, monthly) — programmatic access to the same sourced methodology, as JSON, with a metered scan allowance (see the pricing page).

The Service is consumer-protection and educational information. It is NOT investment advice, not an offer or solicitation, not legal advice, and not a legal accusation against any party. A "red flag" is a documented risk signal, not proof of fraud. You alone decide what to do with your money.

3. No guaranteed outcome

We work evidence-first and source every claim, but we do not guarantee that a report is complete, error-free, or that it predicts any outcome (including losses or gains). Risk verdicts are opinions based on the documented evidence at the date of the report.

4. Payments & refunds

Prices are shown at purchase (EUR, incl. applicable taxes unless stated otherwise). Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Guard/Pro renews monthly until you cancel; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Money-back guarantee: if a material fact in a paid report is provably wrong, you get a refund — see the guarantee note on the pricing page. Statutory consumer rights (including EU 14-day withdrawal rules, where applicable) are not affected.
Immediate performance — Full Dossier / Deep Dossier: these are digital content. At checkout you must tick a separate checkbox expressly agreeing that delivery begins before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, and acknowledging that you lose your right of withdrawal once the report is delivered. The order cannot be submitted without this consent.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to harass anyone, to manipulate markets, to republish our paid reports commercially without permission, or to overload/abuse the API and free tier (rate limits apply).

6. Intellectual property

Reports and site content are ours (or our licensors'). The Full Dossier (and Deep/Priority Dossier) is licensed to you individually for personal / internal business use, and delivered with tracking metadata unique to your order — commercial redistribution requires our permission (see section 5); when we grant that permission, we run a fresh, Bitcoin-chain timestamped re-verification to confirm whether the underlying facts have changed since the original report — the permission reflects the re-confirmed status at that time, not an unchanged endorsement of the original verdict regardless of what happened afterward. The free Quick Scan and the Guard/Pro subscription (either tier) do not carry a document license: Quick Scan is a summary for your own information, and Guard/Pro access is ongoing access to a live service, not a licensable fixed document. Public warning content we publish stays free to share with attribution. Underlying facts and cited sources belong to their owners.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. intent, gross negligence, harm to life or health, or consumer rights that cannot be waived). We are not liable for your investment decisions.

8. Beta

Parts of the Service are offered as a beta — see the separate Beta Registration Terms, which apply in addition to these terms while you use beta features.

9. Changes, termination

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this page (and by email to registered users) before they take effect. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time; we may suspend accounts that break section 5.

10. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by Hungarian law; the competent Hungarian court with jurisdiction has authority, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence (EU consumers may also use the EU ODR platform).
